We are on the lookout for a skilled Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong regulatory knowledge and be adept at developing compliance policies that align with our corporate ethos. In this role, you will ensure that our operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance initiatives and ensure implementation across departments.
• Evaluate and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with external auditors during compliance reviews.
• Assist in developing strategies to promote a culture of compliance.
• Draft compliance reports for executive review and approval.
• Stay informed about new regulations and changes affecting the industry.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on compliance policies.
• Respond to compliance inquiries from management and employees.
• Conduct regular reviews of compliance documentation and training materials.
• Identify potential compliance risks and propose solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification in Compliance is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on compliance experience in various industries
