Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced HR Compliance Officer. You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance within our HR policies and procedures in Durban. The role demands a proactive approach to compliance training, audits, and addressing potential issues, contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage HR compliance systems.
• Perform regular compliance risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Provide expert advice on compliance issues and best practices.
• Coordinate with legal counsel as needed for compliance matters.
• Ensure that employee records comply with legal requirements.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures to align with compliance mandates.
• Prepare documents for regulatory reporting as required.
• Drive HR initiatives aimed at enhancing compliance culture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent
• Relevant HR compliance certifications preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of HR compliance-related experience
