Job Description

As a Copyright Attorney at IP Legal Solutions, your role will be pivotal in advising clients on copyright matters, helping them navigate complex intellectual property laws. You will represent clients in disputes, draft legal documents, and provide strategic counsel to safeguard their creative works.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on copyright compliance and best practices.
• Draft copyright registration applications and ensure timely submissions.
• Conduct workshops and seminars for clients on copyright issues.
• Negotiate royalties and licensing terms on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to manage complex cases effectively.
• Monitor and report on relevant changes in copyright legislation.
• Handle administrative tasks related to copyright filings and disputes.

Requirements

Education

• LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent degree
• Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal practice with a focus on copyright and intellectual property.
