Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care, counseling patients on medication use, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough consultations on medication and health-related inquiries.
• Monitor patient medication therapy and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients about potential side effects and interactions of medications.
• Proactively engage in community outreach programs to promote health education.
• Support pharmacy management with inventory control and ordering supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy is beneficial

Experience

• Experience in a hospital pharmacy is an advantage
