Job Description

We are on the hunt for skilled Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders to join our expanding team in Johannesburg. This role is crucial as you will oversee the operation of shoe manufacturing machinery, ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machines for various shoe production tasks.
• Monitor production processes and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Work closely with quality assurance to meet production goals.
• Help to train and mentor junior operators in machine handling.
• Maintain inventory of materials and report shortages.
• Participate in maintenance and repair of machine equipment.
• Assist in preparing machinery for audits and inspections.
• Communicate effectively with team members to streamline production.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in manufacturing or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Sewing Machine Operation
