• Oversee all aspects of freight forwarding including air, sea, and land transportation.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with transportation companies.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements.
• Track and report on performance metrics pertaining to shipping.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to facilitate smooth logistics.
• Prepare budgets for shipping and transport operations.
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions.
• Provide training and support to junior logistics staff.

• Relevant degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business
• Additional certifications in freight forwarding are advantageous
• Logistics Management Expertise in managing end-to-end logistics processes.
• Customs Compliance Strong understanding of customs regulations and documentation.
• Negotiation Skills Proven ability to negotiate contracts and rates with vendors.
• Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Attention to Detail Meticulous attention to detail in logistics documentation.
• Freight Forwarding Certification
• Customs Broker License
• English (Fluent)
• Afrikaans (Conversational)
