Freight Forwarder

Job Description

Join our team as a Freight Forwarder where you will coordinate and manage the logistics of shipments. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of import/export regulations. We seek a proactive individual to ensure timely delivery of goods and maintain high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of freight forwarding including air, sea, and land transportation.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with transportation companies.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements.
• Track and report on performance metrics pertaining to shipping.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to facilitate smooth logistics.
• Prepare budgets for shipping and transport operations.
• Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions.
• Provide training and support to junior logistics staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding or supply chain logistics
