Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Learning and Development Specialist to lead our training initiatives in Stellenbosch. As part of the HR team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning landscape by developing effective learning programmes and ensuring skill enhancement among employees. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in instructional design and a commitment to fostering workplace growth.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and develop continuous learning opportunities across the organisation.
  • Implement assessment tools to gauge training effectiveness.
  • Maintain relationships with external training providers and consultants.
  • Create training manuals, guides, and documentation for reference.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance your skills as an L&D specialist.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects linked to workforce development.
  • Create a feedback mechanism to improve training effectiveness.
  • Develop e-learning solutions to improve accessibility.
  • Foster collaboration between departments through training initiatives.
  • Report on training outcomes to management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Adult Education
  • Postgraduate qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a related L&D role within corporate settings
