In this role as a Public Health Specialist, you will collaborate with various organizations to enhance health literacy while implementing effective public health campaigns. Your expertise will be pivotal in evaluating health programs and reporting outcomes to drive future strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve health literacy and promote healthy behaviours.
• Assess community resources and recommend improvements to public health services.
• Conduct workshops and training for community health workers.
• Collaborate on research projects related to public health challenges.
• Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and community meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is highly advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years working in public health projects or programs

Certifications

• Certified in Public Health (CPH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• IsiXhosa: Basic
