Job Description

As a Block Placer, you will accurately place precast concrete blocks to create various structures based on construction plans and specifications. Working closely with your team under the guidance of a site manager, your role is crucial for the integrity and quality of the construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction blueprints to accurately place blocks.
• Prepare the ground effectively and safely before placing blocks.
• Work alongside team members to erect support structures as required.
• Utilize hand tools and lifting equipment for precise block placement.
• Ensure the overall quality and alignment of block installations.
• Mix and apply bonding materials to ensure structural integrity.
• Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of tools used in the process.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards at all job sites.
• Communicate effectively with the foreman regarding any issues encountered.

Requirements

• Training in construction or civil engineering would be advantageous

Experience
