Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you will coordinate teams and liaise with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily on-site operations and monitor project milestones.
• Ensure the quality and progress of the construction meets project specifications.
• Collaborate with the design team to resolve design issues.
• Manage procurement and coordination of materials and equipment.
• Facilitate safety meetings and promote a culture of safety on site.
• Conduct evaluations of construction work and prepare reports for management.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of construction staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of progressive experience in construction management

• Project Scheduling Software

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
