Job Description

As a Drywall Taper Helper, you will work alongside experienced professionals to assist in installing and finishing drywall in various settings. Your role will involve tasks such as measuring, cutting, and applying joint compound, while ensuring a tidy job site.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation of drywall and assist with finishing processes.
• Help mix joint compound and apply it seamlessly to drywall.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
• Collaborate with the team to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct site clean-up and preparation for the next phase of work.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• No previous experience required, but experience in construction or a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Hand and power tool operation

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Drywall Installation or a related field: Preferred qualification that demonstrates expertise in drywall techniques.
• Experience with mechanical tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as electric screwdrivers and pneumatic tools.
