We are searching for a detail-oriented Patent Engineer to enhance our legal team. This role involves managing patent applications, conducting patent searches, and advising clients on intellectual property rights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have experience in patent law.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical documents to determine patenting possibilities.
• Consult with clients on their intellectual property needs and strategies.
• Prepare and submit patent applications in accordance with regulations.
• Research technological developments to understand trends and implications.
• Support litigation efforts related to patent infringement cases.
• Engage with patent offices and legal representatives on application status.
• Develop training materials on patent law for internal teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in a relevant field
• Juris Doctor or equivalent is an asset

• 3+ years in a similar role within Intellectual Property
