Legal Counsel

Job Description

As a Legal Counsel, you will be instrumental in protecting our clients' interests and ensuring adherence to legal standards. You'll engage with diverse legal challenges, providing sound advice while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Advise on corporate governance and compliance issues.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and negotiations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Provide legal training and support to employees as needed.
• Manage external legal counsel when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree from a recognized institution
• LLM is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in legal counsel roles, preferably in corporate law.
