Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Community Development Manager to lead our efforts in social work initiatives in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing community programs, engaging with local stakeholders, and making a real difference in the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead community assessments to identify needs and opportunities.
• Create programs that empower local populations through education and support.
• Collaborate with other organizations to address broader social issues.
• Manage project budgets and ensure accountability and transparency.
• Develop communication materials to promote community programs.
• Deliver presentations to stakeholders on program outcomes and benefits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Help build community capacity through skill development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Community Development
• Master's degree in relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in community development or social services

• Certified Community Development Practitioner
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner

Languages

• English: Fluent
