Job Description

The Plumber Cub will be responsible for assisting qualified plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. You will work closely with a skilled team, learning the intricacies of plumbing while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist plumbers with installations and repairs.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings to complete plumbing tasks.
• Document daily activities and report on project progress.
• Keep tools tidy and organized.
• Adhere to plumbing codes and quality standards.
• Help with the installation of water heaters, faucets, and other fixtures.
• Accurately estimate materials needed for plumbing projects.
• Carry out general maintenance and repair work.
• Comply with safety regulations at all times.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients and customers.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent
• Plumbing diploma/certificate is preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in plumbing is a plus but not mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Ability to follow instructions
• Basic understanding of plumbing systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Time management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Driver’s license: A valid driver’s license will facilitate travel to job sites.
