We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Cape Town location. This role is perfect for someone passionate about retail, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations to maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Lead by example, fostering a strong team culture and motivating employees.
  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in managing stock levels through effective inventory control.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are met to enhance product presentation.
  • Conduct performance reviews for team members and provide feedback.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new employees.
  • Monitor financial performance and report on sales results.
  • Maintain store compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management or team leadership
