We are seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

• Direct all construction operations, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Direct site operations and maintain communication with all project participants.
• Utilize construction management software for efficient project tracking.
• Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training as necessary.
• Develop strategic plans for future projects to contribute to overall company growth.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in managing construction projects

• AutoCAD
• Risk Management

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling): Experience using BIM software for project visualization and management.
• Ability to speak Afrikaans: Fluency in Afrikaans to facilitate communication with local teams.
