Job Description

We invite a passionate Pharmacist to join our team in Bloemfontein. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will play a vital role in providing healthcare advice, managing prescriptions, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and effective medication distribution.
• Conduct patient consultations and education sessions.
• Advocate for patients in treatment discussions.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team on strategic initiatives.
• Perform clinical assessments and medication reviews.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy law and regulations.
• Assist in managing financial aspects of the pharmacy.
• Develop and implement quality improvement plans.
• Liaise with healthcare providers to enhance service delivery.
• Promote a culture of safety and excellence in the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacy Practice
• Pharmacotherapy Management

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Advanced Pharmacy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Basic
