Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including conducting examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and formulating treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in a primary care setting.
  • Follow up on patient care and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Implement preventative care measures and health screenings.
  • Work with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with external specialists and resources.
  • Provide expertise in managing chronic disease conditions.
  • Participate in patient safety meetings and quality assessments.
  • Utilize electronic health records to manage patient data.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to professional nursing standards and ethics.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing
  • Current South African Nursing Council registration required
Experience
  • 5+ years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a Nurse Practitioner role
