Job Description

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of our warehouse operations in Johannesburg. This includes streamlining logistics processes, optimizing inventory levels, and leading a skilled team. You will ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and work closely with cross-functional teams to elevate our supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct warehouse operations to achieve performance goals and targets.
• Collaborate with other departments to support supply chain efficiencies.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory.
• Evaluate vendor performance and facilitate negotiations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in warehousing.
• Cultivate an environment of safety, organization, and efficiency.
• Prepare reports for upper management on warehouse performance.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a warehousing or logistics environment

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Data Analysis

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP software for integrated operations management.
