Job Description

We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures that protect our client's systems from security breaches. You will conduct risk assessments, monitor network traffic for unusual activity, and develop incident response plans to safeguard sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies for protecting sensitive information.
• Assess and update incident response plans.
• Lead investigations into security breaches or threats.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors for security assessments.
• Manage security tools and software for threat detection.
• Conduct training sessions to promote cybersecurity awareness.
• Ensure appropriate security measures are in place for remote work.
• Manage access controls and identity management processes.
• Review and revise security documentation as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security
