Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Manager to oversee inventory control and management in our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock levels, streamline operations, and help maintain our high standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the inventory management team in daily operations and inventory processes.
  • Ensure timely communication about stock levels to cross-functional teams.
  • Implement best practices for inventory turnover and stock rotation.
  • Monitor vendor performance and coordinate with suppliers for inventory requirements.
  • Utilize inventory management software to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Support the logistics team in shipping and receiving processes.
  • Address and resolve any inventory-related issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory adjustments and write-offs.
  • Conduct training sessions for new employees on inventory management systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Professional certification in inventory management is a plus

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management or logistics
