Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urban Planner to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban design and environmental planning. You will be responsible for developing plans and programs for land use in urban areas, considering factors such as environmental impact, zoning laws, and community needs.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the social, economic, and environmental impacts of urban projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project execution.
  • Implement innovative urban design solutions.
  • Facilitate community workshops and feedback sessions.
  • Monitor urban development regulations and suggest modifications.
  • Prepare detailed reports for city planning commissions.
  • Provide technical support for land use and zoning inquiries.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
  • Master's degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in urban planning or related field
