Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects. You will be responsible for the effective planning and management of construction activities, ensuring safety compliance and quality standards. A successful candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and experience in managing teams and budgets, ensuring projects run effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and architectural firms.
• Evaluate subcontractors and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Conduct and document site risk assessments.
• Communicate and enforce safety regulations on site.
• Drive schedule adherence through daily progress reviews.
• Manage budget revisions and document justifications for cost overruns.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits.
• Assist in the negotiation of contracts and terms with subcontractors.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to enhance project quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Professional certification (e.g. PMP, NEBOSH) is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of managing construction projects
