Job Description

Join Faith Community Church as our new clergy. We are looking for someone who can inspire and lead our congregation through spiritual guidance, community engagement, and outreach programs aimed at enhancing lives and fostering personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily prayers and lead the congregation in worship.
• Mentor and support youth and community leaders.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities and service projects.
• Manage church communications and community events.
• Maintain an open-door policy for counsel and support.
• Engage with congregation’s feedback and suggestions.
• Build relationships with local organizations and charities.
• Oversee church growth initiatives and educational programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Theology or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in ministry or related field

Technical Skills

• Public Speaking
• Counseling

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Leadership

Certifications

• Ordination Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in community engagement programs: Hands-on experience in managing outreach initiatives.
• Multilingual: Ability to communicate in multiple languages to engage diverse congregations.
