Job Description

We are looking for a talented Architect to join our Pretoria office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility and a keen understanding of sustainable practices. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of professionals to create innovative designs that meet client needs while adhering to local regulations and standards. You will be responsible for developing architectural plans, ensuring compliance with building codes, and leading project execution from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and present architectural plans and designs.
  • Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to ensure project viability.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
  • Review and approve project designs to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in project management, monitoring timelines and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and goals.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years in architectural design and project management
Technical Skills
  • 3D Modelling
  • Building Codes Knowledge
Soft Skills
  • Leadership
  • Negotiation
Certifications
  • Certified Architectural Technologist (CAT)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
Languages
