We are seeking enthusiastic Tour Guides and Escorts to join our team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about sharing South Africa's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty with our guests, facilitating unforgettable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-tour briefings for guests to understand expectations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during transportation and at tour locations.
• Utilize storytelling techniques to captivate and educate visitors.
• Document guest interactions and report any unusual occurrences.
• Stay updated on local events and changes in the tourism sector.
• Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance guiding skills.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in guiding or hospitality roles

Technical Skills

• Public Speaking
• Cultural Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Time Management

Certifications

• CPR Training
• Tourism Guide Certification (or equivalent)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fluency in Additional Languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a definite asset.
• Experience with Wildlife Tours: Prior experience in wildlife guiding is highly advantageous.
