Job Description

Join our pharmacy team as a Pharmacist, where you will ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. You will provide medication counselling to patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals to support optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions with utmost accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their medications.
• Conduct medication reviews and therapeutic assessments.
• Collaborate with medical practitioners to improve patient outcomes.
• Implement health promotion strategies and disease prevention activities.
• Assist in training pharmacy staff and interns.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Participate in pharmacy audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Prior experience in retail pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Medication therapy management
• Regulatory knowledge

Certifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
