Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing health programs, conducting community assessments, and promoting health education. Responsibilities

• Lead health education workshops targeting diverse communities.
• Assess public health trends and suggest improvements to existing programs.
• Work alongside healthcare providers in the implementation of health initiatives.
• Facilitate community forums to address health concerns and solutions.
• Engage in policy advocacy to promote public health issues.
• Monitor and evaluate health programs for continuous improvement.
• Provide administrative support in managing health projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in public health roles

• CPH Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
