Job Description

As a Social Worker with our organization, you will engage with clients in the Johannesburg area, providing essential services and support. You will collaborate with community resources and work alongside clients to foster resilience and self-sufficiency. Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to assess client environments.
• Develop partnerships with local agencies to coordinate services.
• Monitor client progress and adjust service plans as necessary.
• Inform clients about available resources and programs.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
• Support clients in their efforts to achieve independence and stability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Master’s in Social Work (MSW) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community services

• Family Therapy

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (SACSSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Understanding of mental health services: Experience in collaboration with mental health professionals to support clients.
• Fluency in additional South African languages: Ability to communicate effectively in languages such as Sepedi or Xhosa.
