Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Port Elizabeth team. This role involves assessing and implementing therapeutic interventions for patients with physical, emotional, and developmental challenges, ensuring they can achieve their desired level of independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges.
• Design therapeutic programs and activities that promote daily living skills.
• Monitor patient outcomes and modify interventions based on progress.
• Educate clients and their families about therapeutic strategies and home care activities.
• Participate in case discussions within the healthcare team to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Postgraduate diploma in Occupational Therapy is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working with diverse populations

Certifications

• Advanced Occupational Therapy Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
