Chemical Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Reactor Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and monitor reactors, ensuring their safe and efficient functioning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial machinery and a solid understanding of safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor reactor conditions and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Work closely with engineers to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Document and report any incidents or unusual occurrences in a timely manner.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss operational improvements.
• Follow safety standards to minimize risks during operation.
• Train junior operators on standard operating procedures.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices.
• Assist in ISO audits and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all company regulations and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in the chemical manufacturing industry is preferred but not mandatory
