HR Generalist

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist to support our HR activities in Durban. You will be responsible for implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and assisting in recruitment processes. If you are passionate about enhancing workplace culture, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment drives and manage candidate evaluations.
• Provide support for HR projects and initiatives.
• Monitor employee performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations.
• Implement employee recognition programs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and trends.
• Assist with disciplinary procedures and grievance handling.
• Coordinate with external HR service providers as needed.
• Work with management to develop a productive work environment.
• Prepare HR metrics and reporting for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology or related field
• Postgraduate degree in a related discipline is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR role
