Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Manager to lead our projects in Cape Town. The successful candidate will oversee construction activities, manage site teams, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards. Your leadership will directly impact the success of our projects, ensuring quality and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders including project owners and the public.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution on site.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of project progress and performance.
  • Ensure optimal resource allocation and efficiency.
  • Develop and manage site work schedules.
  • Implement health and safety practices to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Compile and maintain accurate records of all site activities.
  • Foster a positive team environment by promoting good practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Construction Management or similar
  • Degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in managing construction sites

  • AutoCAD

Certifications
  • Certified Safety Manager (CSM)
