Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Payroll Administrator to manage payroll activities for our clients in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance with tax legislation, and maintaining employee records. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire payroll process from data collection to payments.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related enquiries.
  • Prepare and maintain various payroll reports for management review.
  • Implement best practices in payroll processing and compliance.
  • Conduct audits of payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with external payroll service providers as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee data.
  • Train and support staff on payroll policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and enhance payroll systems for improved functionality.

Requirements

Education
  • Graduated in Human Resources or Finance
  • Professional qualification in payroll management preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll or HR administration
