Job Description

We are seeking an energetic Human Resources Officer to join our HR team in the vibrant city of Durban. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement initiatives. As an HR Officer, you'll be responsible for managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting employees in their professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise recruitment and selection activities.
  • Draft and revise HR policies and ensure they are communicated effectively.
  • Address employee concerns and ensure managerial support.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops for skill development.
  • Conduct and analyze employee satisfaction surveys.
  • Guarantee compliance with local employment legislation.
  • Maintain accurate HR and payroll records.
  • Advocate for diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Support the development of compensation structures.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or similar
  • Postgraduate qualification in HR is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a generalist HR role
