Your role will involve collaborating with developers to identify and rectify potential issues before they impact performance. Emphasis will be on system automation, monitoring, and effective handling of incidents to maintain service quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance monitoring tools to measure system health.
• Partner with software engineers to design robust and scalable architectures.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis sessions for critical outages.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for reliability engineering.
• Contribute to the cultural shift towards DevOps within the organization.
• Respond to incidents quickly, documenting actions and learnings.
• Conduct periodic capacity planning and demand forecasting for system refining.
• Ensure the reliability of production systems through proper change management practices.
• Proactive identification of potential performance bottlenecks and taking preventive actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar role
