Job Description

The Therapeutic Activities Services Worker is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities for individuals in need of mental health support. This role involves engaging clients in activities that enhance their emotional well-being and overall mental health.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging and interactive therapeutic activities for clients.
• Monitor and document client participation and feedback.
• Work in partnership with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Adapt activities based on individual client needs and feedback.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and program effectiveness.
• Provide support and crisis intervention for clients as needed.
• Research and develop new therapeutic activities that align with clients’ goals.
• Promote a positive and engaging environment for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Certification in therapeutic activities is an advantage

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
