Pharmacist

Job Description

We seek an experienced Pharmacist to work within our dynamic pharmacy environment. You will be responsible for medication management, patient counseling, and collaborating with fellow healthcare providers to contribute to patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe dispensing of prescribed medications.
• Provide advice and information on medicines to patients.
• Engage in medication therapy management.
• Maintain accurate records of controlled substances.
• Assist in inventory management and stock control.
• Participate in training and orientation of new staff.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the pharmacy manager in operational functions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Pharmacy is preferred

Experience

• Experience in a community or retail pharmacy is preferred

Advantageous

• Knowledge of compounding pharmacy: Experience with preparing personalized medications is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems: Skilled in utilizing EHR for patient management.
