Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and engage with families in a supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and create care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care, treatments, and progress.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Support new nurses and assist with orientation and training.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Honours degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Patient Care
• Infection Control

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends: Flexibility in scheduling is highly valued.
