Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Cultural Tourism Manager to develop, manage, and promote our cultural tour offerings in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local culture and history, along with strong leadership skills to guide a team of tour guides.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee innovative cultural programmes and events.
• Coordinate with local artists and historians to enrich the tour content.
• Evaluate tour success rates and gather statistical data to inform future programs.
• Support marketing efforts through social media campaigns and promotional materials.
• Train staff on cultural nuances and hospitality best practices.
• Establish a feedback loop with visitors for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cultural Management or a related discipline
• Master's degree in Tourism is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tourism management roles
