Coiler Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Coiler Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating coiling machines to produce coils of wire or cable, ensuring high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain coiling machines efficiently.
• Test coils for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Follow engineering drawings and schematics accurately.
• Keep work area clean and organized to ensure safety.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to minimize downtime.
• Assist production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Document production processes and report discrepancies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience in coil winding or related field

Technical Skills

• Electrical Wiring
• Troubleshooting Skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• PLC Programming Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles: Experience with Lean principles to improve efficiency.
• Experience in cable or wire production: Previous work in similar production environments preferred.
