Join our dynamic team as a Mining Engineer in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and supervising mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing production processes to maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design processes for new mine projects.
• Ensure the application of engineering principles to all phases of mining projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met.
• Manage project costs and report on financial performance.
• Research and introduce innovative mining techniques and technologies.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather input on project planning.
• Support environmental management and sustainability initiatives.
• Document and report on mining operations and project progress.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mining Engineering is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Civil Engineering also accepted

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mining operations and project management
