Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will assist with the preparation of legal documents, case research, and client communication, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Use legal software to manage case files and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing for court appearances and client meetings.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required by the legal team.
  • Provide support during depositions and court hearings.
  • Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information.
  • Assist with discovery and document productions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information.
  • Help streamline office processes for better efficiency.
  • Train new staff on legal office procedures and software applications.
  • Attend legal workshops and training to develop skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a legal environment
