Job Description

We're in search of an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take charge of our logistics and supply chain operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in optimizing processes, managing suppliers, and ensuring timely product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Direct the supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
• Analyze logistics and supply chain data to identify areas for cost savings.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure product availability aligns with demand.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor supplier performance and institute corrective actions when necessary.
• Develop risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to executive management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• MBA with a focus on Supply Chain is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain roles
