Job Description

Healthcare Providers Inc. is looking for a General Practitioner who is passionate about providing excellent health care to our diverse patient population. You will be responsible for conducting examinations, diagnosing patients, and coordinating care effectively with our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient-centered healthcare in accordance with best practices.
• Manage and treat chronic conditions such as diabetes or hypertension.
• Conduct health screenings and interpret laboratory results.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
• Participate in mentoring and training for junior staff and interns.
• Utilize technology for patient management and communication to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB with a specialisation in General Medicine or Family Medicine
• Additional qualifications in Pediatrics or Geriatrics is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a primary care or family practice setting

• Emergency Response
• Preventative Care

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Clinical Skills Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
