Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our brilliant team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will work on developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms to solve real-world problems. This role requires a profound understanding of machine learning concepts, as well as experience in programming and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of machine learning algorithms.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align machine learning projects with strategic goals.
• Develop robust data collection processes to support model training.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and retrain models as necessary.
• Engage in peer code reviews to maintain high quality in codebase.
• Interface with external partners to integrate new technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Data Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning with a focus on model deployment
