Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee our supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in logistics and inventory management. You will lead the development of strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels, presenting your findings to senior management, and working closely with various stakeholders to enhance our supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Design workflows that improve supply chain efficiency.
• Evaluate and improve supplier performance.
• Lead initiatives to minimize waste in supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgeting for supply chain operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
• Drive continuous improvement projects within the supply chain.
• Report on supply chain compliance and performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Strategy

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Certification
• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Fluency in an additional language: Ability to communicate in languages such as Afrikaans or Zulu is a plus.
