Job Description

We are seeking a Remote Customer Support Agent to deliver exceptional service to our clients. This role involves resolving customer inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively to clarify client needs and provide solutions.
  • Log all customer communications in the customer relationship management system.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Assist in creating helpful FAQ and help center content for customers.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss performance and team goals.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all customer interactions.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in communications or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with help desk software and remote support tools
  • Basic technical knowledge of product functionality
Soft Skills
  • Active listening
  • Time management
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

  • Background in technical support: Experience in assisting clients with technical product queries.
