Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our legal team in Pretoria. In this role, you will assist with case preparation, research, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain case files and legal documentation.
  • Assist in drafting legal pleadings and motions.
  • Prepare for client meetings and take notes during consultations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation and strategy sessions.
  • Coordinate and manage office logistics and supplies.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for senior attorneys.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Legal Studies
Experience
  • 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
